is a Glasgow based artist, researcher and creative producer working in XR and immersive technologies.

They recently completed their practice based PhD at the University of the West of Scotland exploring embodied VR documentary ethics and collaborative practice. They are currently a research fellow at the University of the West of England (UWE) embedded within the Immersive Arts programme Artists and Audiences strand. Alongside their academic work, Tessa produces interactive, VR and MR experiences. Their work has been commissioned by Unlimited, StoryFutures, BBC and BFI and exhibited at Sheffield Doc Fest, Raindance IFF, Venice International Festival, and IDFA. Their creative projects share themes of sexuality, consent, gender and queer identity and often employ forms of co-design with represented communities and contributors. In all their work Tessa is interested in audience access and care, and democratising XR production.
